Our Bright Day team just returned from Tokyo and Osaka Japan, and a visit to BorneLund, the countries number one curator and provider of education based tools and toys for children, as well as the number one provider of playground play-spaces in the country.
There, Bright Day Co-Founder David Krishock participated in:
~ screenings of the Bright Day Foundation documentary film, Growing Up Slowly, Play Is The Way! In both Tokyo and Osaka.
~ And, the opening of The Cube, a breakthrough BorneLund education school concept, located in Osaka – combining traditional and progressive play-based learning.
Krishocks reports, “we love spending our time with education leaders like BorneLund.
At our documentary screening at the Konomi School in Osaka, the parents, teachers and students attending were overwhelmed with joy to see their school featured in our film. Please see the photo I’ve included here of the audience from one of the Konomi School screenings”.
“The Cube school concept, also in Osaka, is the perfect environment to feature Bright Day Big Blocks, especially our new Play Park playground. I’ve also included here a photo of myself and Makoto Yoshioka, a BorneLund Board Director, at The Cube, discussing their play curriculum at this new school concept,” continues Krishock.
