PARTNERING WITH IPA, INTERNATIONAL PLAY ASSOCIATION AND ITS MEMBERSHIP – SHARING THIS NEW, GROUNDBREAKING FILM!

Bright Day Foundation has produced a new documentary film, titled Growing Up Slowly, Play Is The Way! which will be screened to the membership of IPA, International Play Association members, this month, in celebration of the United Nations World Children’s Day, on November 20th.

Bright Day Foundation traveled the world, to countries that research indicates are “smarter” to study the link between play and learning in children. Bright Day visited best-practice schools and play-centers in The Netherlands, Japan, South Korea, and parts of England and the United States.  And as a result produced a foundational film, feature-length, beautiful in production and powerful in message. A film that Bright Day Foundation Co-Founder David Krishock says, “we believe will ultimately create a modern revolution in early childhood education – and will embed the radical notion that play is the best way for our children to learn!”

To perfect the films messaging, Bright Day partnered with International Play Association.
IPA, is the number one organization dedicated to play in the world.  Their mission is to protect, promote and provide play opportunities for all children, everywhere.  They are guided by a United Nations mandate, Article 31,  which guarantees the right of every child to play.
IPA is a global organization, with centers around the world, its largest in countries such as Australia, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, England, Germany, Japan, Netherlands, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, United States – many, many more.

The message of this film is powerful, but very simple:
~ Today’s children are play deprived, creating a global health emergency.
~ Play-based learning in schools works and is working to build children’s learning and create a love for learning more.
~ Play is really working in play environments to better develop a child’s heathy brain and body.
~ Children raised in play-based communities are in fact thriving as adults – pursuing their passions and living their best lives.
~ Now is the time to act – to aggressively advocate for play – in every corner of the world.
~ We must promote play for the health of our children, the ones we love the most, and for the betterment of society and the world’s future.

Both IPA and Bright Day Foundation are proud to pre-screen Growing Up Slowly, Play Is The Way! this November in recognition of World Children’s Day.  This film presentation will begin to generate awareness among educators and industry experts.  This presentation will build word-of-mouth necessary as this film embarks on its global distribution plan.
Krishock closes by saying, “there are close to 2 billion parents and educators worldwide that need to hear our important, inspiring film message, and we will do our best to reach every corner of the globe”.
